About Jose M. Peralta
Jose M. Peralta was born and raised in New York City to immigrant parents.
After twenty years of distinguished service as a U.S. Air Force veteran, he
turned his storytelling vision toward biblical fantasy, exploring the profound
questions of divine authority, moral conviction, and the space between
judgment and mercy.
His debut novel emerged from a provocative question: What if heaven’s most
compassionate angels were the ones condemned? Drawing inspiration from
ancient biblical texts, theological imagination, and epic fantasy traditions,
Peralta crafts stories that challenge readers to reconsider familiar narratives
of good and evil, obedience and rebellion.
Jose lives in Northeast Pennsylvania with his wife, Maritza, their two sons,
Josiah and Jovanny, and their cat, Nani.

What Readers Are Discovering
“A gripping biblical fantasy rooted in ancient myth and spiritual conflict. Peralta presents a provocative premise: before hell rose,
heaven judged its own. Stripped of their wings and branded as exiles, Jovias and six other angels are cast into history to witness
devastation—bound by divine law yet driven by compassion. A dramatic exploration of fallen wings, relentless hope, and the
enduring struggle between judgment and mercy.”For readers of epic fantasy, theological fiction, and anyone drawn to stories that reimagine biblical narratives, Jovias and the Exiled
Seven: Fallen Wings, Relentless Hope offers a sweeping exploration of power, sacrifice, and the moral weight of choice—marking the
beginning of a saga that questions whether compassion is worth the risk of eternal punishment.
